What is Vata?
Vata means to have the characteristics of the wind. It signifies movement and represents the flow of fluid, food, thought and energy through your body.
By its very nature, it is light, dry and cold and ever changing. Vata is the sign of life, and we need to keep this dosha in balance.
The best way to balance Vata is through the use of Ayurvedic oils and massage therapy. Steam and heat treatments are also used to address imbalances in Vata.
